Alex Culwell

I was born and raised in Fresno California and started playing soccer when I was six years old. My father was my first coach for our local rec team we had in our district and he went on to coach me until I was 12 years old.  I started playing in the academy system when I was 16 years old and really started traveling the United States then which opened me up to what my future was going to hold for the next 12 years.
At 17 years old I started playing for the local PDL team the Fresno Fuego. Which later went on to be the Fresno Foxes in the USL Championship. After two year of being with the Fresno Foxes, the organization folded and thats when I signed my first contract with the LA force in 2019. After one season with the LA force I was able to sign with the Las Vegas Lights and compete in the USL Championship. Before coming back and ending my career in LA with the Force. Now my goal moving forward is to give back everything that I have gained in my career. I strive to be a positive role model that footballers can look at and be proud to train with. I want to teach methodologies that I’ve learned through
my career and apply them to my training sessions. My main purpose is be a positive influence in a players life, especially when they need someone to rely on.

I was born and raised in Glendale California. I started playing organized soccer at around 6yrs old. I started my journey playing in AYSO at a young age and then moved to playing club soccer at 10yrs old. I first started with LAFC Flyers who later became LAFC Chelsea. I stuck with them for 3-4 years then moved to FC Golden State where I finished majority of my youth club career u14-u18. At u19 I was with Boca Juniors. I then went on to play my college level soccer in Santa Barbara for a year and a half. Shortly after I then went and had professional experience playing Liga FPD in Costa Rica with Municipal Grecia. Now that I am no longer playing soccer competitively I am looking forward to sharing my experiences and insight on the game to the current and future  generations of players. Soccer has always been a big part of my life with ups and downs and I want to help others out as much as I can with their own journey.
